Italiana Talkability

Italiana Talkability is the first Social Intelligence Study on Italian online conversations related to consumer goods.

13 markets and over 250 Brands, surveyed on mainstream websites and on web 2.0 using innovative data crawling software.
New metrics to gauge Buzz and Brand Equity and, for the first time, thanks to the implementation of techniques used in psychometrics, it is possible to identify “Styles of Conversation” and “Brand Personality” expressed by Web conversations.

Among the key results we find that:

  • on the web today at least one message out of two relative to a given brand is not managed by companies
  • these messages, for the 30 million Italians connected to the web, are the first of source of orientation for a purchase choice
  • a new dimension of Marketing emerges: Talkability
